Photo 7: Special Interest Group – Nature & Close-up

This workshop is designed for beginner to intermediate level photographers with the desire to improve their skills beyond the basics in Nature and Close-Up photography. The focus will include developing a comprehensive workflow with sound technical and creative aspects to allow for the consistent creation of successful and beautiful images. Included in the session of discussion will include but not be limited to the following: Equipment - cameras, macro lenses, tripods, reflectors, diffusers, extension tubes, filters, and best use practices for each. Also, in making the selection of lenses and their various uses in taking close-up subjects, and the composition and lighting techniques for realistic and abstract images. Working with depth of field, background, and selective focus techniques, natural light, and flash will be taught.
Pre-requisite: For those who have completed Photo 1, 2 & 3 or with a general basic working photography knowledge is required. A tripod is required for this workshop.Limited to a maximum of 15 particpants.
